These terms cover the use of this website and the outreach service Barnsley Fern provides to client agencies. We've kept them in plain language on purpose — the way we work shouldn't need a decoder.

The service

Barnsley Fern runs cold-email outreach on behalf of commercial insurance agencies. We source and validate business contacts, send outreach in the client agency's name, and deliver the businesses that respond — exclusive leads — to the client's CRM.

Month-to-month, cancel anytime

  • Engagements are billed month-to-month. There is no long-term commitment.
  • You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fees.

Exclusivity

Every lead we generate for a client belongs to that client. We do not resell, share, or reuse one client's leads for any other client. This is the core of the service and we put it in writing.

No results guarantee

We publish our real campaign data and we'll show you the measured rates for your market before you start — but response rates vary by industry, geography, and season. We do not guarantee a specific number of leads or closed accounts. That's exactly why the engagement is month-to-month: if it isn't working, you can walk away.

Client responsibilities

  • Provide accurate targeting information (states licensed, lines written, industries).
  • Use delivered leads for your own agency's business, in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Hold the licenses required to sell insurance where you ask us to target.

The content, design, and data presentations on this site belong to Barnsley Fern. Don't republish them as your own.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Barnsley Fern's total liability arising out of the service is limited to the fees paid for the month in which the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes to an active engagement will be communicated directly.
